We’re less than two weeks away from Christmas and BBC America has released a new short (though, surprisingly full of new images) trailer for this year’s Doctor Who Christmas special, “The Snowmen.” Apparently, on top of the carnivorous snow, there are also evil ice people. Isn’t that just ducky? Really can’t wait to see what the Doctor, Madam Vastra, Jenny, Strax, and Clara will do when faced with such Richard E. Grant-ian evil.

The Christmas special airs on Christmas (go figure) at 9:00pm eastern and pacific. Afterwards, according to Mark Sheppard’s disembodied voice, Graham Norton will have Matt Smith as a guest. That’s a lot of Who to make your Yuletide traditional-definition gay.
