Serious Business. American Gods’ Mr. Wednesday is a fascinating character, and I can’t imagine more perfect casting than Ian McShane. Empire shared a new look at McShane as the character, and Mr. Wednesday appears to be engaged in a serious discussion with Ricky Whittle’s Shadow Moon. Festival City! Stars Hollow, the home of Lorelai and Rory in Gilmore Girls, is quirky and charming and hosts more festivals than I can count. And now the real-life town that inspired Stars Hollow–Washington Depot, Connecticut–is going to be home to Gilmore Girls Fan Fest. It’s a thing of beauty, no? Parental Ties. If you watched Stranger Things and have also seen Parks and Recreation, Steve Harrington (Joe Keery) probably reminded you of Jean-Ralphio (Ben Schwartz). They very much resemble each other. So, Schwartz appeared on The Late Late Show with James Corden and confirmed that yes, Steve is Jean-Ralphio’s dad. House Terrors. AMC’s Shudder, the network’s horror streaming service, has nabbed its first television series. Shudder has the U.S. rights to the French miniseries Beyond the Walls, created by Hervé Hadmar and Marc Herpoux.
