Ghost in the Shell

Major Motoko Kusanagi’s righthand man Batou has been cast in the live-action Ghost in the Shell movie starring Scarlett Johansson. The actress’ Lucy co-star Pilou Asbæk won the role in director Rupert Sanders’ adaptation of the hit anime film, due out on March 31, 2017. Expect Asbæk to score a huge fan following beforehand, since he’ll also appear in the next season of Game of Thrones.

The Finest Hours

We’ve got the first poster for Disney’s nautical drama The Finest Hours, based on the real-life story of a 1952 Coast Guard rescue mission to aid two oil tankers in peril. Craig Gillespie directs a cast that included Chris Pine, Casey Affleck, Eric Bana, and Ben Foster. The Finest Hours opens on January 29, 2016.
