If you had toy cars as a kid, you probably smashed them into one another every now and then, or maybe you raced your Hot Wheels as fast as you could so theyâd go flying off the track in a miniature blaze of destruction. Unfortunately, you grew up, and the time you had to play with your toys grew smaller and smaller. So you had to find new but safe outlets to feed the destructive portion of your imagination. Then you had the most lovely day when you went to see Mad Max: Fury Road.
Well, someone has now managed to combine the fun of playing with toy cars as a child with the epic awesomeness that is our favorite dystopian action movie: a 1/64th scale replica of the Gigahorse from Fury Road.
On Flickr, user newsovietsciencefiction posted pictures of the creation of the miniature marvel. Primarily using pieces from three different model cars he managed to create the two-tiered, elevated Gigahorse. This thing looks like itâs ready to head out into a tiny desert and race along a tiny Fury Road. Check out our gallery of what was used to make this, but make sure you head over to see the full process.
For comparisonâs sake, hereâs a shot of the actual Gigahorse from the movie.
While this is too good to drag out our old Hot Wheels tracks and race into a wall, the chances someone would catch us at our desk recreating scenes from the film are mathematically greater than 100%.
What would be the next Mad Max vehicle youâd love to be able to zoom around your dinner table like a six-year-old? We vote for Furiosaâs War Rig. We want to witness your top nominee in the comments below.
