Mark Zuckerberg’s Facebook Senate Hearing Gets an (Equally) Absurd Bad Lip Reading

Mark Zuckerberg‘s Senate hearing was a terrifying ordeal if you care at all about personal privacy rights and government oversight… but at least it led to a whole lot of fantastic memes and jokes. And the internet isn’t done with it yet. Now, Zuckerberg’s hearing has its own hilarious Bad Lip Reading video—one that is just as sensible and productive as the actual event was. Watch below, and allow the absurdity of the parody to override all your memories of the absurdity of the actual Senate hearing. (Bad Lip Reading absurdity is always better than real life absurdity.)

Just buy the poor guy’s special van, Mark. You can afford it. But good call on not being Ted Cruz’s friend, even if he has the coolest treehouse ever.

As for how this compares to the real hearing, the opening of this bad lip reading would have been one of the five best moments from the actual event, especially because it might have spared us all from seeing Zuckerberg’s unsettling smile the whole time. And I’m not totally sure at some point a Senator didn’t really ask, “So when I have the Facebook do I also have the internet?”

Sometimes a Bad Lip Reading is less worrisome than the real thing.

What was your favorite “question” from this bad lip reading hearing? Which one do you wish a Senator really asked him? We can’t read your minds or your lips, so share your thoughts with us in the comments below.
