Look at These New DEADPOOL Photos, You Silly Chimichangas

There are about three months left before Deadpool releases in theaters, and that is just enough time for Ryan Reynolds and crew to get reshoots done for the film. The Canadian star was spotted on the streets of Vancouver this past Friday, decked out in the iconic red and black outfit, as the crew finished up a few scenes for the R-rated Marvel comic adaptation.

According to a report by The Daily Mail, Reynolds, in full costume, shot a scene where he darted down a sidewalk, tackled a man in a suit, and dropped him to the ground. The images provided with the story depicted that, as well as a few of Reynolds as he watched the replay of each take, sans mask.

Naturally, we will never complain about getting a chance to see Reynolds run around in his Deadpool costume, though some may fear what reshoots this soon before the film’s release could mean. (I mean, we all watched the trainwreck that Fantastic Four unfold this summer.) Rest easy, though: not all reshoots are created equal and it doesn’t mean Deadpool is necessarily in bad shape.

In a recent interview with Collider, Reynolds mentioned that the “studio hasn’t crushed us with anything. They were here yesterday, they were thrilled, they saw some cut footage and so far so good.”

And after Dan Casey’s trip to the set, we have not doubt the film will be as spectacular as we hope.
