But while Jesus may have died for our sins (if you follow that religion), what about those who were destroyed and reassembled for our… grins? Yes, we’re talking about LEGO! And what better way to celebrate both resurrections than with a LEGO “Egg Bot” decorating machine?

In the above video, YouTuber and “full blown AFOL” (or Adult Fan of LEGO) JK Brickworks, a.k.a. Jason Allemann, shows off his LEGO Mindstorms Egg Bot—which was inspired by the original 1990 Egg Bot—and good blocks in Heaven is this a sweet little machine!

The whole setup is created using parts solely from the LEGO Mindstorms EV3 kit, as well as Sharpie markers (although any felt-tip pens will do), and of course, some eggs. Three motors in the Egg Bot are used to turn the egg, lift and drop the pen, and move the pen side to side. There are seven patterns that the Egg Bot can “print” on the eggs, although you can program your own.
