JURASSIC WORLD: FALLEN KINGDOM LEGO Sets Debut at Toy Fair

With only three months to go before the summer movie season begins (we know summer actually begins in June, but let’s be honest, movie-wise, it’s May), that means that LEGO is ready to release its latest sets based on the season’s biggest films. Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is one of the films getting the brick treatment, and the sets made their debut at Toy Fair in New York.

The Pterandon Escape set comes with two pilots and a pteranodon. Will the pilots escape both a volcanic eruption and a flying dinosaur heading right towards them? I don’t know which is more dangerous.

The Raptor Rescue Truck set has Owen trying to use a chicken leg to lure a raptor to safety before the volcano destroys the island. Let’s hope the raptor doesn’t think Owen’s arm is part of the snack.

This LEGO Juniors set is for the younger fans. Claire and a scientist are trying to watch over dinosaur eggs while the threat of a T. Rex looms outside the gate. We thought the role of the T. Rex was to save the humans at the last second from a bigger threat, but it looks like it could be going back to its more base instincts, where everything and everyone is a meal.

Check out more pictures in the gallery below. Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom opens in theaters June 22.

What do you think? Which of these Fallen Kingdom LEGO sets will you be picking up? Let me know on Twitter @donnielederer or sound off in the comments.
