Jonah Raydio #73: You’re Episoding All Over Me

Hey, it’s the guy who does the cover art to our episodes, the kind and talented Dana Lechtenberg! Dana was recently in Los Angeles curating an awesome art show featuring parodies of artist’s favorite albums. You can purchase these works of art at Gallery 1988.

Also in attendance was Sam Brown from The Whitest Kids You Know. Sam will be doing some shows at Stanford and Sons in Kansas City Thursday to Saturday.

Don’t forget to get your Master of Poptarts before Jonah receives a cease and desist from that band it parodies.

  1. Kyle says:

Elvis could sing like a motherfucker. Check out “If I Can Dream” from the ’68 Comeback Special. It’s hell of maudlin and way over-the-top, but the dude was magical.

  2. Blake says:

o_O;;; Did a guy on the show say Elvis and Roy Orbison weren’t “really singing” and everyone automatically agreed?

  3. Dave says:

Jonah, I’m sick of you. I normally like this podcast but you missed all the Coachella and hipster jokes this time. However, I HAD forgotten that you don’t like your friends much, so making fun of them was fresh and cool.
Don’t forget to keep making everything you do ironically cool.
    Much love,
    Dave

    • Grayson Lewis says:

Dave, you seem like a genuinely nice and kind person. Kudos to you and your forthrightness and going out of the norm to leave a comment on a website post; a compliment, of all things, instead of complaint like some would normally do! You rock!
      Respectfully, Grayson

      • Dave says:

Thanks, Grayson!Your prompt reply has lead me to leave one of my own! In retrospect I could have worded my original comment much better, but 3am bitching rarely lends itself to much editing. I love the music I have heard on this podcast but hate Jonah more and more with every listen, because of what I assume are reasons. I like the group as a whole though, and the guests are generally interesting, so I’ll probably tune in again in a few months and see what happens.
