We are a little over two weeks away from the release of Marvel’s The Avengers: Age Of Ultron. While we are all busy getting our Marvel fix by binge watching Daredevil on Netflix, Marvel doesn’t want us to forget about the big boys. The crew over at io9 has reported on a new extended clip released from the film, highlighting a clash between Avengers, as Iron Man dons his Hulk-Buster armor to wrangle a raging Bruce Banner. It seems the fight will be taking place in a foreign country, however, the circumstances of their presence there is unclear from the video. What is clear, though, is the circumstances of the fight itself. Obviously Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) has gotten into Banner’s head and driven him to raging through this city as The Hulk. It seems, as we have all expected, that the action, danger, and destruction of this second film will surpass that of the original, and it seems this fight is already upping the ante in terms of high-octane action.
The scene definitely lives up to what many have anticipated of it, and it serves just as well as we would hope to raise the excitement for the movie. Ever since the release of the concept art for this scene, I have been looking forward to finally seeing it in action. Now that I have, to some extent, it reminds me why Joss Whedon has been trusted with these films and these characters. He knows how to make a film based on a comic book that truly compliments both mediums.
