It’s Best if Henchmen Don’t Switch Video Game Assignments

Just because you work as a ghost in one video game it doesn’t mean you are qualified to work as a ghost in a different one. In fact, it turns out mixing up henchmen assignments isn’t just a big problem for the self-esteem of virtual minions; it can be deadly. And that goes for heroes too, because when you expect a bunch of ghosts to stop moving when you look at them, but they keep coming anyway, well thenna even if you are a famous plumber you-a gonna get-a mauled.

In the latest video from Dorkly, one of our favorite humor sites on the Web, we get to see that while the folks at the Video Game Henchmen Exchange Program have the best of intentions in sending minions to different games so they can broaden their horizons, it’s just unsafe for everyone involved.

Because while Samus Aran might be well-prepared to take on metroids, when all of your fighting experience involves using Pokemon you really aren’t ready to take on an organism that wants to literally feed on your life force. Just like how you might be a worthy foe in the world of Final Fight, but you’re no match for a spinning, super fast hedgehog that thinks you are locking up a bunny in your chest.

And while plenty of good characters, on both the good side and the bad, died in this horrible program, at least they didn’t face the existential crisis of the turtles.
