Holiday Gift Guide: STAR WARS Edition

You may have thought you bought all there was to buy concerning Star Wars back on Force Friday. But, the galaxy is vast and there are many, many star systems. Naturally that means there’s also a slew of merchandise from a long time ago and far, far away that you didn’t even know about! And, what with The Force Awakens not even in theaters yet, and it being time for our 2015 Holiday Gift Guides, it seemed appropriate to share some of our favorite things to stuff in your hyperspace stockings.

Among the Star Warsy available, we’re pretty darned excited about the SteelBook collection of all the previous six Star Wars movies, each with a new character image. Lots of bad guys in there, to be sure. Sony is also releasing the soundtracks to the original six movies on vinyl — there’s no better way to listen to John Williams than that.

You’ll have to wait for The Force Awakens to come out, but there are two books about that movie — The Art of The Force Awakens and The Force Awakens Visual Dictionary — to quell your need for knowledge and pretty pictures.

On the weird stuff kick (and boy I love me some weird stuff), there are things like Kylo Ren lightsaber chopsticks, a 40″ plush Chewbacca which is taller than most children, 3D Deco lights with different characters’ faces popping out of your wall, and even R2-D2 and Darth Vader shower heads. Just cuz! Not to mention all the BB-8 stuff your little heart can handle.

Below, you’ll find a gallery of all of these items and more with links to where you can purchase them if you so desire, or if you’re making a list for your own stockings. Some of them will also be included in our massive 2015 Holiday Gift Guide Giveaway, but I’m not gonna tell you which ones because there needs to be SOME secrecy left in the holiday season.

Check on Monday for how you can enter our giveaway, right here at Nerdist.com!
