He knows when you are sleeping, he knows when youâre awake… That’s right, itâs the most horrifying time of the year:Â Krampus season!
Krampus is coming to town/theaters on December 4 and you do NOT want to be on his list, trust me. A much more palatable Krampus is one made of pastry. Just add on a bacon tongue and heâs a welcome sight… almost. Popping open a can of crescent rolls can be scary enough but just wait until this Christmas demon comes out of your oven!
Krampus Crescent Roll
ingredients:
-1 (8 oz) can Pillsbury crescent rolls
-1 strip bacon, cooked
-1 egg beaten, for egg wash
Preheat oven to 375 degrees and prep a baking sheet with a silpat or parchment.
Pop open the can of crescent rolls and roll out flat.
Use two rolls to form the base of the head.
With the rest of the dough add details like teeth, eyes and eyebrows and horns.
Brush the roll lightly with a beaten egg.
Bake for 11-13 minutes depending on your oven. Let cool slightly on a wire rack.
Add a bacon tongue to serve.
