New Trailer Chronicles Tom Hiddleston’s Life in the HIGH-RISE

Welcome to the weird dystopian future of 1975. Director Ben Wheatley’s adaptation of J.G. Ballard’s High-Rise maintains the setting of the original novel while bringing Tom Hiddleston to a deluxe apartment in the sky…but he may soon wish that he never moved on up!

The newest trailer for High-Rise follows Hiddleston’s Dr. Robert Laing shortly after he came to live in apparent luxury among the upper class residents of his building. While Robert appears to be mostly bemused by the insanity and the arrogance of his fellow residents, the trailer soon takes a darker sci-fi tone as the building itself seems to randomly shake and break apart while frequently losing power. And those are far from the only problems. There’s a class war brewing on the lower floors of the building, and Robert is right in the middle of it!

Sienna Miller co-stars as Charlotte Melville in High-Rise, alongside Luke Evans as Richard Wilder, Elizabeth Moss as Helen Wilder, and Jeremy Irons as Mr. Royal, the mysterious architect who designed the building.

High-Rise will be available on April 28 via On Demand, Amazon Video and iTunes. The U.S. theatrical release for High-Rise will follow on May 13. But if you happen to live in the United Kingdom, then High-Rise is hitting theaters on Friday, March 18.
