Hannibal Buress and Open Mike Eagle Offer Wisdom With ADVICE RAPS

Comedian-of-the-moment Hannibal Buress has just teamed up with hip hop artist Open Mike Eagle for a new video packed with wisdom, comedy, and hip-hop. On the first half of The Advice Show (with its Kenny G-inspired intro theme), the hilarious Buress offers his two cents on numerous topics, including kissin’ cousins, marijuana-inspired vampire screenwriting, sexting, and vision boards. Then the two men collaborate on Open Mike’s new song “Doug Stamper (Advice Raps),” which sounds like an Odd Future track in spirit and sensibility.

Yeah, Hannibal has it right — there are many people in this world who are so NOT your cousin. Buress released his Comedy Central special Hannibal Buress Live from Chicago back in March and is still hosting his weekly live show at The Knitting Factory in Brooklyn every Sunday night. (Note to Hannibal: we want to see you again here in LA!) Meanwhile, Open Mike Eagle has just released his new album Dark Comedy, featuring the above “Doug Stamper (Advice Raps).” It’s available now from the Mello Music Group.
