FROZEN Gets a Shot-For-Shot Homemade Trailer From Cinefix

Welp folks, just when you thought we were past Frozen features, our friends at CineFix proved they couldn’t let it go (sorry) and released a brand new homemade shot-for-shot trailer for the film. Sorry Elsa, we tried! Feast your eyes on the creation at the top of the page. Also, just to show how close the trailer comes to the original, CineFix also released a side-by-side comparison of the two. That way you don’t have to try to synchronize both videos to witness the glorious project. Check it out below.

The crew behind the trailer opted for practical effects instead of visual effects in the live-action remake of the 2013 film’s trailer. On the video’s description, they stated, “We caught FROZEN FEVER here at Homemade Movies! Just like the rest of the world. So, in tribute to this triumph of Disney animation, we re-made the trailer for this instant classic. But live action, with no post-production trickery!”

It is certainly impressive to see all of the things they accomplished. We were especially pleased with their recreation of our favorite sun-loving snowman Olaf. Luckily, the group also released another episode of Homemade How-to in which they show viewers at home how to create their very own Olaf! If you want a special snowman friend who won’t melt, or in my case, have a nephew who can’t get enough of the animated character, grab some crafting supplies and check out the video below.

Like what you saw? The creative folks at Cinefix also crafted up an 8-bit versions of Frozen, The Fast and the Furious, and let’s not forget the awesome animated adventures of Heisenberg and Pinkman. They have a lot of other cool nerdy stuff on their channel, so head on over and check it out.

Are you planning on making your own little Olaf? Let us know in the comments below.
