Free DLC Coming to GRAND THEFT AUTO ONLINE Next Week

Another free Grand Theft Auto Online update? Don’t mind if I do! Rockstar Games is continuing to spoil the GTA Online player base with free content, releasing a bunch of screens that highlight some of the offerings from their upcoming update, Ill-Gotten Gains: Part 1. Starting next week, players can use their in-game currency to purchase a slew of new items ranging from new weapons and clothing all the way to decked out, gold-finished airplanes and helicopters. Because nothing says “I legally made my fortune” like flying in a shiny, gold private jet loaded with the heaviest of artillery.

This is the first of two big GTA Online updates on the way this summer. While you can catch several of the items that were featured in Rockstar’s announcement in the gallery below, it should be noted that Ill-Gotten Gains: Part 1 will feature hundreds of new items for you to spend your hard-earned heist dollars on. The update is bundled primarily with luxury items specifically geared toward players looking to spend a fortune, which should encourage anyone who’s been slacking on their career as a GTA Online criminal to make a return.

I personally have taken a hard, shameless plunge back into the world of GTA Online– especially since now everything seems to be working as it was originally intended to back when the game was announced in 2011. But what about you? Does Rockstar’s consistent updates and transparency with their community make you want to hop (back) into the game? Do you still have yet to experience the excellence that is heist missions? Make it rain with your thoughts down in the comments below.
