Fan Art Friday #16 – X-Men

With talk of a live-action X-Men television series on the horizon, it seemed like a fine time to turn the Fan Art Friday spotlight onto some mutants. X-Men titles are some of my favorites in all of comics (Days of Future Past, The Dark Phoenix Saga), and the 2000 X-Men film showed me the potential for comic book movies. I’ve connected with various characters over the decades of X-Men comics and still have many more to read.

The first illustration in this week’s gallery is not fan art. The Kitty Pryde and Lockheed image just below is by comic book artist Terry Dodson. I couldn’t resist including it because I adore Kitty and this convention sketch is wonderful. That disclaimer out of the way, enjoy the art!
