After 11 seasons solving supernatural mysteries on The X-Files, Fox Mulder and Dana Scully could use a day off. But if you’re going to recast those two iconic characters, you need to look for another pair that knows a little something about magical beings and aliens. The Fairly Oddparents, for instance.
In the latest clip from our Alpha series Talkin’ Toons, host Rob Paulsen welcomed fellow voice actor Grey Griffin, his colleague on the Nickelodeon animated series The Fairly Oddparents. The two recreated the very first meeting between Mulder and Scully, with—quite fittingly—Rob playing Mulder as his alien prince character Mark Chang, and Griffin stepping in for Scully as her villainous babysitter Vicky.
Truth be told, it would be impossible for any version of the renowned skeptic that is Agent Dana Scully to deny the existence of aliens if she worked with Mark Chang, the prince of the planet Yugopotamia… who looks like this:
It’s no surprise the FBI put that guy in the basement.
