Exclusive: Sneak Peek at MORTAL KOMBAT X Comic Chapter 12

As the days come and go, our excitement for Mortal Kombat X to finally hit consoles exponentially increases. Lucky for all of us there is a tie in comic book prequel that’s been giving us enough Kombat goodness to hold us over while we wait. If you didn’t already know, Mortal Kombat X has a comic book series that takes place 15 years after the beginning of Mortal Kombat‘s rebooted universe and acts as a bridge to the events that will be occurring in the next entry in the series that is set to launch April 14th. Well, we have some good news for you: we got our hands on a sneak peek of Chapter 12, and of course we are going to share it with you all.

Chapter 12 has Sonya Blade and Johnny Cage looking for their daughter’s kidnapper. These pages display some great art work with D’Vorah doing her thing, eating some weird things and Johnny Cage being his charismatic self. They end up finding their target in a peculiar situation. This chapter also marks Havik’s first appearance in the series and provides a small glimpse of him in the thick of things.

The cover art is also pretty gnarly looking. It features a terrifying looking Kano with his blades completely bloodied, giving us a glimpse at what to expect in the rest of the chapter.

If you are interested, the full comic book series is broken up into chapters that can be downloaded on DC Comics App, Readdcentertainment.com, iBooks, comiXology.com, Google Play, Kindle Store, Nook Store, and Iverse ComicsPlus.  Yeah, you are covered no matter what digital comics service you use. The series covers story lines from the characters that will be in the game and some others from the franchise. Chapter 12 will be available this Sunday, March 22, for download. Fans won’t want to miss it.
