EVO 2015 is Here, Watch the Live Stream

There are few genres that bring out the inner fire like the competitive video game fighting scene. The community that regularly indulges in either actively participating in tournaments or spectating others spar it out, know how big the Evolution Championship Series (EVO) is.

Hadoukens, Final Smashes, and, of course, Fatalities are flying through the air, claiming foe after foe until only one person stands as the champion.

If you are part of the aforementioned fan base, then you already know that Vegas is hosting EVO 2015 right now. If you didn’t know, now you do. Unfortunately, not everyone who would love to attend has the means or time to make it out there. If you fall into this category, fret not! The whole event is being streamed online, which you can check out above. You won’t miss a beat, so grab your nearest WiFi-enabled device, cuddle up, and get ready to watch the best of the best duke it out.

This year has a great queue of titles that include, Ultra Street Fighter IV, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, Killer Instinct, Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 (my personal favorite), Guilty Gear Xrd, Mortal Kombat X, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, and Tekken 7. Surely, there is something in there that you can enjoy spectating. If you’re anything like myself, you will then reevaluate your life because your fighting “skills” are horrid and poor compared to these guys.

Take the opportunity to make a night out of it. So, instead of Netflix and chill, you can Twitch and chill. Make sure to let us know who you’re rooting for in the comments section below. You can also send over a friendly (or not so friendly?) tweet my way about the whole spectacle.: @collegescrubz.
