Daisy Ridley and John Boyega React to the STAR WARS Trailer

You’ve probably watched the new trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens about 100 times by now, right? We sure have. I’ve been pouring over every single frame, trying to piece together what may or may not be happening in the story. (Sidebar: how great is it that we still have no real idea what to expect?!?!) Also by now you’ve probably watched, or at least seen the links to, billions of reaction videos of fans just like yourselves ooing and ahhing over the shots of Han Solo, Chewie, Kylo Ren, Poe Dameron, and Princess em-effing Leia! But if you haven’t seen the reactions of two of the film’s big new stars, then you haven’t seen anything.

John Boyega and Daisy Ridley, who portray Finn and Rey, respectively, both posted to their all-the-time-delightful Instagram feeds of themselves watching the trailer for the first time. Two things are immediately evident of the young British actors: 1) they haven’t seen any of this footage yet either, and 2) they are just as excited as anyone would and should to be a part of something so monumental. It’s beyond touching.

We can see Ridley was woken up (it was 3:00am in the UK when the trailer dropped) and she’s visibly overwhelmed by the emotion of it all.

Boyega was here in Los Angeles at a Lakers game when the trailer dropped, but he and his friend booked it to a TV to watch, and this is one of the best reactions of anything ever.

Someone on YouTube paired up his reaction to the part of the trailer he was watching (as if we didn’t know) and it’s even more fun.

Daisy Ridley and John Boyega: two of my new favorite humans on Earth.

Many Nerdist employees stuck around to watch the trailer, meaning they all had to watch a good portion of a football game beforehand, and their reactions are priceless as well.

And, just because, I’m posting this video. Ever the skewers of pop culture, the fellas at Red Letter Media had their take on a trailer reaction video.

Jerks.

Who had some of your favorite reactions? What were yours? Let us know in the comments below!
