Chris Pratt, the Apparently Kid, and JURASSIC WORLD-Inspired Dino Trivia is the Best Thing

Well, this is the most adorable thing that’s going to happen today. Chris Pratt, a.k.a. the internet’s collective boyfriend and star of the upcoming Jurassic World, went on Ellen to promote the film and played a rousing game of “Dino Wrong or Dino Right” with Noah Ritter, a.k.a. “Apparently Kid.”

In case you have somehow never encountered the bombastic Noah Ritter, he became a viral sensation last year after a video of him excitedly spouting his favorite word (“APPARENTLY”) on LIVE TELEVISION popped up on the internet. He is also a Nerdist office meme because SOME horrible human (definitely not me) became obsessed with the video several months after it was a thing and wouldn’t stop imitating him. Now, no one can say the dreaded word without triggering a tiny chorus of “APPARENTLY!”s. Sorry, guys. [Editor’s Note: She’s not sorry. — DC]

There’s also a Songify This remix of the clip that is 100% worth a watch.

Ok, back to the video… Ellen gathered these two dudes together to play a game of dinosaur trivia, and let’s just say Noah leaves Pratt in the dust. Noah, being, you know, a child, is understandably elated. His little dance! He’s raising the roof! My heart might explode.

Also, part of me wants to just pretend this is Andy Dwyer getting his ass handed to him by a Johnny Karate costar. ♪ ♫ ♬ You’re just 10,000 candles in the wind… ♪ ♫ ♬
