Bruce Campbell Gets Super Bloody in New ASH VS. EVIL DEAD Trailer

This October, the Chosen One will be back in action…whether he likes it or not!

In the Starz original series Ash vs. Evil Dead, Bruce Campbell is once again playing Ash Williams from Army of Darkness and the first two Evil Dead films. And if you were perhaps afraid that this show would hold back on the carnage because it’s on TV, the newest Ash vs. Evil Dead trailer should assuage any concerns about that! In this clip alone, we see a pair of scissors stabbed through a woman’s hand and enough blood to fill up a bathtub!

The new trailer also offers a glimpse of a much scarier breed of Deadite, as well as another look at Lucy Lawless’ Ruby. She blames Ash for the return of the Deadites, and knowing Ash, she may not be mistaken about that! As for the poor woman with the scissors in her hand, that would be Amanda Fisher (Jill Marie Jones), a former Michigan State Trooper who holds a grudge against Ash for the death of her partner.

While the new trailer does contain some footage from the first Ash vs. Evil Dead preview that debuted at Comic-Con, it also features a more formal introduction to Ash’s new sidekicks: Pablo Simon Bolivar (Ray Santiago) and Kelly Maxwell (Dana DeLorenzo). Pablo and Ash get most of the funny interactions in this trailer, but Kelly’s time will probably come soon enough.

Ash vs. Evil Dead is being executive produced by Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert. The ten-episode first season will debut on Starz this Halloween, October 31st!
