BREAKING BAD Gets a Children’s Show Hero on the Latest TALKIN’ TOONS

Breaking Bad gave viewers one of the wildest character transformations in television history. Walter White was an unassuming and meek family man and high school science teacher. But pride and desperation led him to a life of crime, one that saw him kill dozens of people during his rise and fall as a drug kingpin. It was a totally unexpected metamorphosis, and yet there are still some people who are even harder to imagine becoming Heisenberg, like the innocent-sounding young star of the upcoming animated series Box Peek.

In this clip from the latest episode of our Alpha series Talkin’ Toons, host Rob Paulsen welcomed Amanda Troop, the voice of young Jordy Defective from Easy Allies‘ new series from Kyle Bosman. (You can watch a special preview edition of the first episode here.) They recreated one of the most famous scenes in Breaking Bad history, when Walt told his wife that he is “the one who knocks,” with Rob playing Skylar White as Yakko, and Amanda filling in for her dangerous husband as Defective Jordy.

If Walter White knocked on our door we would be caught off guard by how dangerous he was, but we definitely would not have seen Jordy coming.
