BLACK MIRROR Plays With Our Memories Again in Season 4 Trailer

We don’t have a specific release date just yet for the fourth season of Netflix’s notoriously ominous sci-fi series Black Mirror, but the episodes are expected to drop this year. To help us get ready for one of the most brilliant-yet-upsetting shows on television, Netflix has released two new episode teasers. As with teasers for previous seasons, the episode details are sparse. However, as we’ve all come to expect from Black Mirror, they look completely haunting and engaging.

The first teaser is for the season premiere, a Jodie Foster-directed episode called “Arkangel,” touting the tagline, “The key to good parenting is control.” The episode will play into that unique place parents find themselves in, attempting to keep their kids safe while also not becoming overbearing. With the increase of technology, how far is too far when it comes to protecting your child?

The second teaser is for the third episode called “Crocodile.” The details here are a bit murkier, but the episode looks like it will be tackling how we deal with memories and their subjective nature, and it looks like Kiran Sonia Sawar’s character will uncover some dark secrets when she goes digging about in a man’s past.

While we still have to wait for an official release date, we can hope that Netflix will help us pass the time by continuing to drop episode teasers for the season’s other episodes, “USS Callister,” “Hang the DJ,” “Metalhead,” and “Black Museum.” But judging by our look at “Arkangel” and “Crocodile,” Black Mirror season four is going to be another crazy, punishing, but utterly enthralling ride into the not-so-distant future.

What do you think of the two new teasers? Are you excited for Black Mirror season 4? What are you hoping to see in the new season? Let’s talk about it in the comments!
