The Dyatlov Pass incident has many items that make it seem like a possible mini avalanche or gas burp, like what is going on in Siberia, reading up on methane it says the extremely cold liquefied form can cause burns to the skin and eyes.  It could have also been radiation gas trapped from the Russian tests or the radiated clothes(don’t know when they were exposed).  If this happened, radiation from clothes or methane/radiation gas escape causing a slight avalanche and it somehow got into the tent, I could see it causing a panic and the explorers trying to get away from the possible burning by ripping open the tent and moving away from the area and by removing all their clothes because they could not tell which ones were radiated or if it even was their clothes at that point.Once they have escaped what is affecting them, where they thought they could make another camp, the woods, or possibly when they started to lose eyesight from radiation they build a fire to try and stay alive.  Knowing that they have to get their things and/or get help, they divide their clothes among the others, three of which are trying to return to camp to get their things, and four oddly going farther north to get help leaving two to man the fire.
Based on reviewing the Dyatlov Pass map on google maps, if they were disoriented due to weather or radiation they might have believed that they were close to their January 31st camp and cache.  This makes the group of four look like they may have been trying to get back to this camp, rather than going farther north into more nothingness.
It is an unfortunate incident and we’ll probably never know what truly happened.

You guys should definitely read up on Dudleytown, CT. It’s a really old abandoned town thats supposedly super haunted. And I think the most haunted town in Connecticut. I don’t remember all the facts, but apparently people have been arrested trying to go in there.
