BATMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES Villain Funko Pops! Make Evil Look Adorable

Funko has yet to disappoint us with the utter cuteness and endless collectability of their Pops! toys and that goes especially for a villainous new batch of Batman: The Animated Series baddies. Now, in addition to the already-available Joker, Poison Ivy, and Harley Quinn figures, there are many more villains in the mix, ranging from occasional ally Catwoman to rarer foes like the Phantasm.

In addition to Catwoman and the Phantasm, the series includes figures of classic Batman villains Clayface, Bane (complete with luchador mask and the character’s unique set of hardware), and Scarecrow. The two most unique toys in the lineup are a pair of variations on Robot Batman: one battle-worn and the other with its face fully intact. The latter is a 1-in-6 rarity, so it’ll be harder to spot on shelves, though not a single-store exclusive like previous limited figures.

Each villain is is fully suited up for a fight, Clayface aside (which we’ll forgive Funko for since he fights au naturel anyway). The details on this particular series of Pops! is impressive; particularly awesome are those that come equipped with weapons. Catwoman sports her utility belt and wields a whip, while the Phantasm wouldn’t be complete without the signature razor blade on her right arm.

This second set of Batman: TAS Pops! hits stores in September. In the meantime, the aforementioned Joker, Poison Ivy, and Harley Quinn figures—in addition to adorable renditions of Batman, Robin, and Batgirl—haven’t yet reached retirement age. That can come at any time for a Funko figure, so act fast if you want the full set.

What would you like to see in the next series of Batman: TAS Funko figures? (I have my eye on Clayface, personally.) Let us know in the comments! Also, remember to check out Kyle Anderson’s Batman: Reanimated series recaps.)
