AVENGERS 4 Isn’t Finished According to Mark Ruffalo

WARNING: This post may contain spoilers for Avengers 4!

Mark Ruffalo may play the Hulk in the MCU, but in our world, he’s the Incredible Spoiler-Man. Even Tom Holland’s legendary loose lips pale in comparison to the time Ruffalo spoiled the ending of Avengers: Infinity War nearly a year before it came out. A recent interview with Ruffalo isn’t quite on that level, but he did share an update about Avengers 4. Today’s Nerdist News defies Thanos’ will to tell you what it may mean for the still untitled sequel.

Join host and She-Hulk’s former law partner, Jessica Chobot, as she goes over Ruffalo’s comments from his guest appearance on The Marvelists Podcast. In regards to Avengers 4, he said, “We’re not just doing reshoots, we’re going to finish the movie, which we really didn’t get to finish totally when we left it last year.”  That’s one way to keep the secrets from spilling out. Ruffalo and Holland can’t ruin the movie if they don’t know how it ends.

It’s not unusual for big blockbusters to schedule time for reshoots. And this is potentially good news for  Black Panther fans. In a since deleted tweet, Atlanta Filming reported “#Avengers4 will have a whole lot more #BlackPanther in it than #AvengersInfinityWar. So that’s less a reshoot and more an addition of goodness.” This could mean we’ll see some of our favorite Black Panther supporting characters again for the grand finale.

Of course, there could be a downside as well. Dave Bautista has indicated the reshoots may change the fate of the Guardians of the Galaxy in light of James Gunn’s dismissal and the postponement of the third movie.
