The FIRST ORDER Expands Ranks with Animal Stormtrooper Helmets

From their origins in Attack of the Clones to what we can see today in the trailers for The Force Awakens, Stormtroopers have always been human. With no individuality, this massive army was a constant reminder of the hold Emporer Palpatine had over the entire galaxy. But now it looks as though they’re ready to expand their army to different species. Thanks to New York City designer Blank William, we can take a small glimpse into what that may look like.

In the collection, called “The New Order,” William repurposed Stormtrooper helmets to fit the biggest creatures of the animal kingdom: elephants, rhinos, and hippos.

Animal Troopers

Be they actual creatures or some sort of anthropomorphized version therein, the First Order would certainly become more intimidating with an animal component. Who would win in a fight? An Elephant Stormtrooper? A hippo? A human? None of the above? All of the above?

How about a Tauren Paladin?

Tauren

I’ll be honest. I think I would go with the Paladin. Sure, the Elephant is big and everything, but as a Stormtrooper, he or she would go for their gun first and miss about 2o times while the Tauren lays waste.

But don’t just take our word for it, check out the rest of the helmets in the gallery below and form your own opinion. It’s how the strongest in the animal kingdom survive.

So what other animals should receive their own Stormtrooper cosplay? Let me know on Twitter or sound off in the comments below.
