Zack Snyder Reveals Brand New Underwater AQUAMAN Footage

Aquaman, Aquaman, does whatever an aqua can! Okay, that’s not his theme song, but it is an accurate description of DC Comics’ Atlantean ass-kicker. After making a not-so-auspicious debut in one of Lex Luthor’s Quicktime files in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Aquaman has been the subject of much speculation, particularly in regards to how the underwater hero’s world would look. Now, Zack Snyder is giving fans a sneak peek at Aquaman’s undersea home with a brief clip he posted on the social media app Vero (which we, in turn, saw via io9).

The footage, which clocks in at a staggering six entire seconds and was filmed at Stage 23 on Warner Bros.’ Burbank studio lot, features Aquaman swimming like a beautiful undersea centaur towards another character. The clip, which appears to be a visual effects test for Justice League, is definitely on the shorter side, but it should hopefully help assuage any fears that fans had after seeing Jason Momoa definitely maybe holding his breath in a dunk tank on a soundstage during the BvS cameo.

In the clip, Arthur Curry, a.k.a. Aquaman, appears to be swimming towards another armored Atlantean character that we can’t quite make out. It could be Orm, Aquaman’s half-brother who becomes the supervillain known as Ocean Master, and will be played by Patrick Wilson in the Aquaman solo film. It could possibly be Vulko, the Atlantean science advisor who will be portrayed by Willem Dafoe. We’ll have to wait until Justice League hits theaters on November 17, 2017 to say for certain though.
