Win a HATEFUL EIGHT Vinyl Soundtrack and Blu-ray

Quentin Tarantino‘s The Hateful Eight was easily my personal favorite movie of 2015, and a big part of that was the masterful, moody, Oscar-winning score by Ennio Morricone. From the open, ominous strokes of the double bass, the doom-laden, slightly carnivalesque proceedings of eight bad people holed up together in a single shack during a horrible storm is laid out. We’re ready for all the tension, small talk, and wanton violence that’s to come.

Morricone’s a legend, and a legend deserves to be listened to in legendary fashion. This is why we’re doing our best to get you to listen to the soundtrack to The Hateful Eight—which also includes tracks by the White Stripes, Roy Orbison, David Hess, and lots of dialogue from the film—on gorgeous vinyl. Not just any old vinyl, either. Only 1000 of these special, hand-pressed records were made globally, and each is stamped and numbered. The retail value alone is $150 per disc! And, what the hell, we might as well give you the Blu-ray too!

And for your chance to win both, it’s going to take a whole lot less effort than trudging through the wilderness to Minnie’s Haberdashery. All you have to do is follow Nerdist Music on Twitter, and then click here to tweet out the message that’ll make you eligible to win the vinyl. Do this any time between now and 6 pm PST on Wednesday, April 27, 2016. That’s it. It truly couldn’t be simpler. One lucky winner will get both the vinyl (pictured in our gallery below) and the Blu-ray for some delightfully hateful indulgence.

You better get to tweeting, because anyone who misses out on this contest is gonna get a sad face. Not a question, not a warning…a sad face.
