Who’s In and Who’s Out in AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR?

While 2017 is gonna give us Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Spider-Man: Homecoming, and Thor: Ragnarok; we’re already looking ahead at the film that will bring them together. Avengers: Infinity War has started production, and what we’ve always known has been confirmed: this one is gonna have almost every single Marvel Studios hero to date. However, “almost” is the operative word, since there will be a few key absences. Today’s Nerdist News is using the power of the Infinity Stones to determine who’s in and who’s out in the Avengers’ cosmic battle against Thanos!

Join host, and Thanos’ other adopted daughter, Jessica Chobot, as she runs down the long list of confirmed returnees as well as the heroes who aren’t likely to make the cut. Among the MCU heroes, we know that Evangeline Lilly’s Hope Pym won’t be suiting up, since that moment is being saved for Ant-Man and the Wasp. Black Panther hasn’t been confirmed yet, but considering that his solo movie is also in production, we wouldn’t be shocked to see Chadwick Boseman shoot a cameo at the very least. However, if you were hoping that the Netflix Marvel heroes could possibly make a quick appearance, then you’re in for some disappointment. That’s still looking extremely unlikely.

Regardless, we doubt that anyone will be truly disappointed with the number of heroes in this movie, considering that all of the surviving Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy are expected to appear, in addition to Spider-Man, Captain Marvel, and Doctor Strange. There may even be room for some new heroes to debut in this film as well. Peter Dinklage is rumored to be playing Pip the Troll, and if that’s true, then Adam Warlock can’t be too far behind.
