Before the fourth and final season of the zombie survival story podcast, We’re Alive, goes live on August 26th, be sure you’re up to date on Seasons 1 – 3, available now via the Nerdist Podcast Network. It’s a fully-produced audio drama series, as heart-wrenching and terrifying as anything on television or in the movies.
Follow Army Reserve Soldier Michael Cross as the world he knew gets turned upside down. One minute, he’s in college, and in the next, rioters are roaming the highway around him, breaking into cars, and literally tearing people apart. This is the day the dead walk. This is the world of We’re Alive. Join the survivors as they band together, struggle to fortify a safe haven known as the Tower, and discovers that zombies are far from the worst thing in a post-apocalyptic Los Angeles where the rules of human decency no longer apply. Little food. Little water. Little hope. Who is lucky enough to say, “We’re Alive”?
I really hope it’s new nerdist connection gives it an even bigger fan base. I have been in love with this story since Greg Miller introduced me to it. I can’t wait for it to return. Last season I found myself more interested in what happened next here than in the Walking Dead. Speaking of which, it would be hilarious if Chris guest hosted We’re Not Dead, the fan show that discusses theories and such, as if it were Talking Dead. Also, I’m hopeful Nerdist could bring in some great actors to play the kind of stuff that’s in KC Whelan’s mind.
Great to hear it’s starting again soon! To anyone that hasn’t listened to the series yet, it’s fantastic!!!! I got my wife and a bunch of friends addicted to listening to the show.
