Watch the SUPERGIRL/FLASH Crossover’s First Behind-the-Scenes Video

While many filmgoers head to the multiplex this weekend to see Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, those of us who’ve been following the DC Television Universe (and the underwhelming reviews the long-awaited first big-screen pairing of Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman have garnered) are more excited about another superhero team-up that’s happening this month. On Monday, March 28, at 8/7c, CBS will air a very special episode of Supergirl (titled “World’s Finest,” after the longtime Superman/Batman crossover comic book), which finds Grant Gustin’s Scarlet Speedster of CW’s The Flash cross the dimensional and network barriers to help Melissa Benoist’s Kara Danvers (a.k.a. the Girl of Steel) and her friends in National City battle the wicked Silver Banshee!

Gustin and Benoist are old friends from their days on Glee, and they’ve both been singled out for their performances in these DC shows for the charm and warmth they bring to their iconic roles. So if the sturm und drang of Dawn of Justice has you worried, you might want to check out “World’s Finest”—even if you don’t regularly watch either of the two series. Executive producer Greg Berlanti and his team are taking steps to make sure that this historic tale is accessible to newcomers and rabid fans alike. (As they’ve done when The Flash has crossed over with Arrow!)

To help whet your appetite, we have a new behind-the-scenes “first look” at this episode, featuring the extremely photogenic young stars…

God, the cuteness! It burns
