Watch the INSIDE OUT Emotions React to THE FORCE AWAKENS Trailer

What did you feel when the new trailer for Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens was released last week?  You probably experienced a myriad of emotions, like maybe nostalgia, excitement, joy, anticipation, even frustration (since it’s still two months away). That trailer brought out all kinds of reactions from all sorts of people, and it turns out it also produced quite the reaction from some very famous emotions themselves.

Pixar put together a video of the emotions from Inside Out watching and reacting to the new trailer. Just like us they were overwhelmed by it. I would really like to see Pixar animate John Boyega’s emotions when he watched the trailer the first time.

This is actually a beautiful little bit of double promotion from Disney, as not only is it yet another advertisement for The Force Awakens (in case you’ve been living under a literal rock and haven’t heard about it), but it also doubles as an ad for the Blu-ray of Inside Out which comes out November 3.

This clever reaction-style video, the kind that are usually made by fans, really hits its authentic nadir at the end, when the emotions find out they have to wait until December 18 to see the film. We feel you Sadness, but we definitely relate to you Anger. That December 18 date makes us want to smash things too.

What was the primary emotion you experienced watching The Force Awakens trailer? Let’s get deep and reveal our inner most thoughts together in the comments below.
