A Very Special Episode

How hard would it be to make Breaking Bad look like a Lifetime movie? The folks at Entertainment Weekly gave it a shot:

Actually, come to think of it, even the hardest, darkest parts of Breaking Bad aren’t as horrifying as Mother, May I Sleep With Danger? By the way, the shot of Aaron Paul at the 1:30 mark reminds me of someone I know. Can’t quite place it, but it’s in the eyes.

And then, they imagined Game of Thrones as it would be if it aired on the CW:

Put the right music on the right scenes and you can make anything into a CW or Lifetime show.

Yeah, it’s silly, but it’s December and we’re all a little punchy, and I just had a whole day on my other job reporting on massive layoffs, so silly is good.

I think the person you’re trying to remember is Elijah Wood. Certainly that’s who flashed up in my brain when I got to that shot
