There’s love everlasting, and then there’s the Hendrixes. The power couple to end all power couples on Orphan Black have truly been put through the ringer on the series, and this season has so far proven that it won’t slow down for Alison (Tatiana Maslany) and Donnie (Kristian Bruun). But that doesn’t mean the most adorable murder-happy drug-pushers this side of the soccer field aren’t the reigning king and queen of keeping it optimistic (and mostly together). So it makes complete sense these adorably squeaky-clean (relatively speaking) kids would sing a song to remind themselves of their love for one another.
And we’re premiering that very clip right here, right now, on this here website ahead of Saturday night’s new episode! Ain’t life just the greatest? Particularly when it involves Donnie playing a lute and he and Alison singing “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough.”
Now, we won’t spoil the episode for you, but it’s a really good and focuses, deservedly so, on the Hendrixes (Alison especially). It’s a nice way to show new layers to the characters on the heels of this crazy science trip ending. Because lord knows how it’s going to end for anyone on this show â especially the incredibly incriminated.
