Watch The First Trailer for the Whedonverse Star-Studded LUST FOR LOVE

You can’t stop the signal, and you can’t stop members of the Whedonverse from acting in the same films. Where there’s one, you’ll usually find many more, and that’s definitely the case with Lust for Love. Written, directed, and produced by Anton King, the romantic comedy features many of your favorite faces. You’ll especially be pleased if you’ve been missing Dollhouse.

The lineup includes Fran Kranz, Dichen Lachman, Enver Gjokaj, Miracle Laurie, Felicia Day, Maurissa Tancharoen, Beau Garrett, and Caitlin Stasey. Could you stand any more Whedon goodness? The film doesn’t seem to include any creepy memory wipes (whew!) and focuses on Astor’s (Kranz) pursuit of love and happiness. When he screws up things with the woman on whom he’s had a lifelong crush, Cali (Lachman) swoops in to educate him about how to woo the ladies.

Lust for Love is the product of a successful Kickstarter campaign that wrapped up back in 2011. The Kickstarter team summed up the trailer in their most recent update: “We made a movie. It isn’t all about Fran Kranz’s clothes falling off, but some of it is. I think that makes the world a brighter place for everybody, really.” You can watch Lust for Love via VOD on February 7.
