Have we mentioned we are very, very excited for the second season of Masters of Sex? Because, well, we are. The Showtime series was, in our humble opinion, the best new series that premiered last year (shhh nobody tell our beloved Orphan Black). And in honor of the work of its real-life subjects, Dr. William Masters and Virginia Johnson, Tatia Pilieva — you know, the woman who did the First Kiss video that took over the Internet a few months back? — has paid homage with a new short featuring strangers getting naked together. For art!

The whole thing is pretty self explanatory, but we’ll really lay it on thick for you out there interested in a little pre-video wordy foreplay. (Sorry, we’re the worst.) Masters and Johnson’s work essentially asked strangers to strip naked in the name of science — lots of ’em! — which ultimately led to the sexual revolution we all benefit from today. So in that same vein, complete with cutesy soundtrack, Pilieva rounded up 20 folks to strip each other naked for funsies and awkwardly charming and adorable video purposes. The results of which are below.

Masters of Sex‘s second season premieres on July 13th at 10PM ET/PT. If you haven’t seen season one get thee to a Showtime Anytime account tout de suite and GET ON THAT ALREADY. Lizzy Caplan and Michael Sheen are the best, you guys — to say nothing of the brilliance of Allison goddamn Janney and Beau Bridges.
