Watch Disney’s TSUM TSUM KINGDOM Take on FINDING DORY (Exclusive)

When Disney first came out with cute little bouncy versions of their beloved characters, who knew they would be so popular? … Well, everyone knew. We all knew, because kawaii and Disney were simply meant to be. Tsum tsum collecting and game-playing has become an all con-tsum-ing obsession (yes, I went there), but what happens when you step away from your beloved characters? Did you know that the little fuzzballs actually go on great exciting adventures when you’re not looking?

Now, these escapades are chronicled in Disney’s Tsum Tsum Kingdom, a live-action series that follows the little plushes’ adventures, nature-documentary style. Voiceover narration lets you peer into the minds of the elusive tsums as they carry out their journeys through the web series.

Disney gave us an exclusive first look at episode two, where we get even more “rare insights” into the adorable little lives of the tsum tsums. This Finding Dorythemed episode is all about tsum tsum migration and what it takes for a tsum to journey “home.”

We learn that, much like real animals, these tsums are tagged to track their migration patterns, but the little Nemo tsum has other ideas. Seeing the tsums’ adventures through his eyes, we learn that the critters like to bet on amateur wrestling and that Minnie Mouse can really shred on the skateboard ramp. Nemo’s adventures work up to a big splash, because how else would a fish story end? The episode also gives us a good look at the Finding Dory tsums Hank, Destiny, Bailey, and Crush, which are currently available in stores.

Much like Toy Story’s take on what toys do while their beloved owners are away, these fun imaginings are an entertaining way to take your love of tsum tsums even further. The live-action puppetry feels real and kids are sure to enjoy seeing their favorite collectibles go on hilarious adventures. Check out images of the animatic storyboard in the gallery below and catch new Tsum Tsum Kingdom episodes the second Thursday of every month on the Disney YouTube channel.

If we didn’t have this show we’d never know what mischievous lives these fluffy little creatures led while we were at work or out with our non-tsum friends. Which tsum tsum is your favorite?
