Watch Bruce Campbell’s Groovy Reddit Video AMA

In honor of the new series – that you totally should be watching – Ash vs. Evil Dead, Reddit did an AMA (“Ask Me Anything” for the uninitiated) with none other than the legendary Bruce Campbell.

Making portions of their AMAs available on YouTube is quite possibly the best thing Reddit has done in recent years. The quick highlight episodes are more digestible and entertaining for those who don’t regularly use Reddit.

The full AMA can be found here, but the video above covers a decent amount about Campbell. The questions covered in the video range from what his ideas of what fame were to how he thought “making it” was when he saw Evil Dead in a theater in his hometown. When asked if he ever gets lonely enough to talk to the Necronomicon, he said he sometimes gets lonely enough to actually go on Reddit.

Other topics covered were what his ideal hand customization would be instead of just a chainsaw (lots of things), his thoughts on pick-up lines (don’t use them), how Burn Notice fans will recognize him if he wears a Tommy Bahama shirt and what his on-set attachable limb “Mr. Wiggly” is (gross, don’t think those thoughts, it’s a plastic chainsaw.)

What might come as a surprise is that in the new Ash Vs Evil Dead the iconic Oldsmobile is the original one from the first film! According to Campbell, Sam Raimi has four of the same Oldsmobiles and the one used in the show was shipped to New Zealand for filming.

What are your favorite moments of the AMA? Do you wish different questions and answers from it were filmed? Let us know in the comments below!
