Watch BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE’s Official Trailer At Last

The red capes are coming! The red capes are coming! On Saturday, Warner Bros released the full trailer for its long-anticipated Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice during their panel at San Diego Comic-Con. Due out in 2016, the Zack Snyder-directed flick has made one thing abundantly clear from its brand new bit of marketing: there’s a heck of a lot of tension between Clark and Bruce — and everyone around them is pointing fingers as to who is more dangerous.

Of course when the human race must choose between one of its own or a superheroic god-type from outer space, the folks down here on earth are likely going to root for one from their own team. Right? Well! Not so fast: it looks as though Gotham’s a bit divided in their allegiances, but one thing is certain: Battfleck has grown tired of the muddled morals of the superheroes of his beloved and benevolent (har har har) town and he’s going to do something about it.

But it wasn’t all angsty Ben Affleck and stoic Henry Cavill — we also got a quick (but totally badass) peek at Gal Gadot in her Wonder Woman best getting electrically angry, and Jesse Eisenberg’s luscious Lex Luthor locks (try and say that five times fast).

And, because Internet, there are even some killer GIFs that have been made already, courtesy of Tumblr users mockingday and peter quill, in case you needed more excitement in your life:
