Everybody remembers Candy Land, right? With Peppermint Forest and Gum Drop Mountain and Peanut Acres? Well, if there were ever a coup in Candy Land, and Queen Frostine found herself replaced by a Sinister Minister of Sugars or maybe Ramsay Bolton, this latest Hydraulic Press video would serve as the new tasty tyrant’s way of keeping the peace among the pieces of candy.
The video is the Hydraulic Press Channel’s latest, and this time the torturers of the inanimate turned their attentions to a giant gummy bear, which appears to be this “World’s Largest Gummy” Bear. If they are indeed smushing the “World’s Largest Gummy Bear,” then this beast of a treat weighs in at five pounds, and poses a legitimate health hazard with over 6,000 calories of real sticky icky glucose.
Despite its willingness to bend, one has to admire the mega gummy’s resistance toward breaking. After that first full go ’round through the press, the gummy is barely split, which means not only do gummy bears definitely have an intrinsic +10 to pressure resistance, but also that bones may be overrated. (That second trip through does turn the mega bear into a thick slab of goo, though, despite it managing to stick the press to the plate beneath it in what was surely one last act of resistance against its captors.)
Neither the mega gummy bear nor the small squad of regular-sized gummy bears squished before it manage to earn “most entertaining high-pressure compression of this video,” however. That honor most definitely goes to the clay bear in the extra content at the very end of the video. Let’s just say when you watch a clay bear’s head pressed down into where its stomach just was, something magical happens.
And you can make something magical happen too by letting us know what you think about this video in the comments section below!
