Some of you may be getting SodaStream home soda-making machines for Christmas or Chanukah. At least, those things are being pushed hard as the Ideal Gift for Everyone. But what if you’re not a big soda drinker? The guys at Foodbeast went ahead and carbonated coffee, milk, and whiskey with the thing, because you can. But as the video shows, those are probably not good ideas.
“When used properly, SodaStream is pretty awesome,” concludes the video, after using it improperly. Not everything should be fizzy.
We’ve had a soda machine for years now. Any fruit juice works great, no additional flavoring required.
@Jeremy – Elie thought it would be a good idea to add some cranberry mix… and it tasted horrible. Maybe just carbonated coffee would have been alright?
Now i’m super curious how that coffee/chocolate looking one at the end tasted?! It LOOKED like it would taste good…but the way the tatted guy spat it out towards the end makes me think otherwise
