Minecraft is about to get a bit more fly. A brand new item will soon be added to the game that will allow PC gamers to gracefully take to the skies in Adventure Mode. Minecraft lead developer, Jens Bergensten, tweeted out some information about a nifty new cape that will allow players to fly around in the aforementioned mode like Superman. Yes, it looks rad. It will be included in the next update, which unfortunately has yet to be dated.
As far as we know, no superpowers other than flying will be granted with the cape. Darn. At least it will make exploring strange and far locations much easier. It’s already possible to fly around in this cubed world, but never before like this. In full motion, you really will look like a super hero.

You won’t be able to craft this coveted item, but will actually have to find it. Where? That bit of information is still unknown. But, knowing this community, it will be all over the wikis as soon as the update goes live. We also know that it will fold when you are grounded– Mojang thought of everything.
I can’t wait for the modding community to get their hands on this. They will surely find new inventive ways of using this impressive addition. I also hope console gamers get to play around with the cape as well.
