Upcoming WARCRAFT Movie Cast Revealed

Be you Horde or Alliance, today’s Warcraft news should sit pleasantly in your heart if you’re a fan of the series. Legendary Entertainment has just announced the cast for the upcoming Warcraft movie, which is set to begin production in Vancouver during January of 2014. Thus far, Ben Foster, Travis Fimmel, Paula Patton, Toby Kebbell, and Rob Kazinsky have all been revealed as cast members via Twitter.

The highlight of the casting decisions would definitely have to be Rob Kazinsky, whom you may know from his roles in Pacific Rim and HBO’s True Blood. He’s actually a big time World Of Warcraft player, referring to the game as his “ultimate job” after boasting over 463 days played. The fact that he still has time to turn in stellar performances on the big screen with so many WoW hours logged in is madly impressive.

As far as the plot for the Warcraft movie, all we know is obvious, like the fact that it will take place in Azeroth and feature the many familiar races of the Horde and Alliance like orcs and night elves (although it’d be nice to see a panda or two).

ummmmm,,,,where do you plug them in?? :/

  2. Shawn says:

Looks like Toby was the bad brother in Prince of Persia. Paula seems to have been in the last Mission Impossible, but I didn’t see that. My guess is she will be a night elf she is so gorgeous.

  3. Shawn says:

Article must have been corrected since I don’t see any of the issues from the comments. I like Travis, Ben, and Rob from Vikings, Xmen/6 feet Under, and Pacific Rim/True Blood. Don’t know the rest. Where’s Felicia Day?

  4. samworrell says:

lol they removed my comment lol thats racist pmsl

  5. samworrell says:

so another shit film comming out then

  6. Nemesis says:

Everyone complaining about them saying Ogres are in WoW is retarded. There ARE Ogres… in multiple places throughout Kalimdor, The Eastern Kingdoms, AND The Outlands. I can’t name all areas they appear in but they do show up in Stranglethorn Vale and Zangarmarsh.

  7. Meredith says:

I’m sure he’s a great actor, but I’d say the highlight of the casting so far is Ben Foster. He’s the only actor whose work I am familiar with, sorry True Blood just isn’t my thing.

  8. Patrick Jeffrey says:

The fact that i typed NEEERRDD RAGGEEE should imply i was joking. You guys are the ones that need to calm down.

  9. The movie will suck unless it has Leeroy Jenkins

  10. Dan Casey says:

    Is The Barrens Chat leaking?

cant wait for the Elf guys battle the Covenant Zealots and Grunts

is that Magneto guy gonna be in this one too?

  13. wexting says:

Ogres exist in wow as an NPC, and in the history some characters as Rexxar was borned from a Orc and Ogre o.O you cansee that in the campaing of rexxar on warcraft III Expantion. (Sorry for my bad english) XD

  14. BernDawg says:

And Will Shatner! 😉 with a holy hand grenade…..

  15. Andy says:

Is mr t going to be in it too?.

  16. Stephy says:

A whole row of dudes, and then, Paula Patton. What is she, Smurfette? I can see this going into a total testosterone-fest, with her being totally objectified, because that’s what happens when a nearly all-male cast has one woman, particularly if the woman is as attractive as Patton. I don’t expect the movie to pass the Bechdel test, by any means, but I can see the genderfail in this one coming a mile away.

  17. Silverpine says:

The cast so far is a very interesting mix. I can see Travis Fimmel (if he is casted) as a dwarf (He is on the Vikings show…like come on total bad ass right there!). I do not know what story what they are going with, but I have faith in this.

  18. kay says:

what is this a make up test? Oh wait it’s a promo photo BEFORE the FX. makeup. Oh my bad.

  19. moredots says:

Malik, just own up to the fact you messed up and were factually incorrect about ogres vs orcs, and races vs classes. It’s okay to admit you didn’t know. Saying you weren’t “specific enough” is a cop out.. Just proofread and/or Wiki before posting next time please.

  20. Tami says:

    Ben Foster! Yes.

  21. Kris says:

gut reaction is uh oh. could be good. could be bad. we will see in time.

  22. crystal says:

I only know one of those actors…RAGNAR!

  23. Malik Forté says:

I guess I should’ve been more specific. Calm down folks haha

  24. Dubya says:

These comments angry about Ogres in WoW must not have played the game. They are all up in that. Two headed Ogres even. Half-ogres. Sad that some of us nerds “rage” but obviously don’t know that we are raging for incorrect reasons. You should rage that they considered night elves and ogres “classes” since they are races, obviously one is not playable.

  25. Westley says:

Wow calm down on the nerd rage on errors, don’t be those types of nerds.

  26. Drew says:

There are Ogres in WoW, they’re not a playable race but they definitely exist.

Oh, and I think you typed Classes when you meant Races.

  27. Branden says:

I mean, there are npc and enemy ogres. Like in BoT and stuff. The Twilight people have a lot of ogres.

  28. Dmpstrbaby says:

Ogres in WoW? This site must die!

  29. Patrick Jeffrey says:

ITS ORCS NOT OGRES JESUS!!! N3333RRRDDD RAAAGGGEEE
