Planning on spending your Friday downloading and playing the multiplayer beta for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End? Well, rework your schedule, because Sony has announced its plans to release the beta one day earlier than planned. Players who have purchased their copy of Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection will now be able to access the beta on Thursday, December 3, as opposed to on Friday, December 4.
Starting at 12pm EST, fans will be able to access the beta and should expect it to take up 7GB of space on their Playstation 4’s hard drive. Once it’s live, the beta will run for ten days until December 13. Keep in mind that this is a beta test, and there will be some flaws, bugs, and possibly crash as Naughty Dog and Sony test out their server capabilities and gameplay. If you don’t own the Nathan Drake Collection, however, you will have to this one out. But, with the game three months away for its release, there’s always a chance of an open beta test happening. Hopefully, the Uncharted 4 multiplayer beta is on par with the functionality and success that EA saw with their Star Wars Battlefront two months ago, and not wind up a disaster like Capcom’s first Street Fighter V beta during the summer.
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is currently slated to release on March 18, 2016, exclusively on the Playstation 4. Plan on participating in the beta test for Uncharted? Let us know in the comments below!
