No Apologies. Sometimes you just want to go prison. Fictional prison, that is. The ladies of Litchfield return with Season 3 of Orange is the New Black on June 21, and the first trailer for the upcoming season is giving me all the things I want to see. Panel It Up. More television series are taking a trip to Austin for the ATX Festival. The event already boasts a Gilmore Girls reunion panel, which in my opinion is all you really need, but the following shows have been added to the line-up: Hannibal, Bunheads (canceled too soon!), Complications, Suits, Dawson’s Creek, and Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Another One? Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. isn’t exactly pulling in killer ratings, but that’s not stopping ABC and Marvel from developing a spinoff series for next season. There isn’t any other information, but I’m guessing it will take place in the present like S.H.I.E.L.D.? Maybe? It’s hard to say. All I know is that if a spinoff gets a greenlight and Agent Carter doesn’t get renewed, I’ll be flipping tables. [Nerdist]

Gal Pals. Sometimes there is so much television that some series drop off your radar. And by sometimes, I mean all the time. For example, take Netflix’s Grace and Frankie. The comedy has a powerhouse cast–Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin, Martin Sheen, and Sam Waterston–but until the trailer was released yesterday, I’d forgotten about it. The comedy is about two wives (Fonda and Tomlin) who become friends after their husbands (Sheen and Waterston) come out of the closet and leave the women for each other. [Vulture]

Not From the Comics. When comic books are translated to the screen, characters are usually subtracted and added. The character of Emily Woodrow has been created for AMC’s Preacher pilot. “Emily Woodrow, a no-nonsense single mother of three. Emily’s a waitress, the church organist, bookkeeper and Jesse’s loyal right hand. Stoic and strong, wise beyond her years, she can’t help but have a little thing for Preacher Jesse.” Lucy Griffiths (True Blood) has been cast in the role. [CBR]

Finding the Author. Don’t ever say authors aren’t the running sort. The Storybrooke gang found the Author in the last episode of Once Upon a Time, but he took off in an instant and left an Author-shaped cloud of dust. Weighty Looks. Long and intense looks say a lot, and they’re all that’s talking in the first look at Season 2 of True Detective. The broodiness practically bleeds out of the teaser. Watch the footage and then visit Alicia’s post to see the first batch of official photos from the upcoming season.
