To the Moon with Marvin E. Quasniki

Newt Gingrich said the other day that he would put a base on the Moon by the end of his second term, which was interesting insofar as he hasn’t been elected to a first term yet. But his Republican rivals are not going to let Newt seize the space issue, no sirree Bob. And Nerdist-endorsed candidate Marvin E. Quasniki is stepping forth with his OWN plan for space.  Unlike Newt’s vision, Marvin’s plan involves Costco and JiffyLube:

Space mayo in bulk, tanning booths, and unpronounceable minerals… top THAT, Romney. Yes, as he says, “Marvin E. Quasniki is your candidate from space.” That’s about right.

See the Quasniki campaign videos at the Nerdist Channel on YouTube and like him on Facebook, because you have nothing better to do right now and you know it.

  1. Old Doctor says:

Oh please – this is as funny as it should be because it’s the truth. Newt brings up a popular pipe dream and attaches gobs of patriotism and nationalism to it just to sway his audience. The prospect of a lunar colony is technically and financially unachievable by one nation even if there is considerable private business backing. How will America pay for this? Private business is not interested in space as there is no profit on the Moon. A lunar colony would be possible if it has international cooperation and financial backing.

Oh my gawd this is so bad. It’s even worse then the Republican debates (and that’s saying something). I love Nerdist but this thing is just unfunny.
